The algorithm for reversing the direction in the Iteration Move has been enhanced.

3DCS now supports FlexLM version 9.5. Please note that 5.16.1 is fully compatible with previously released DCS vendor daemons.

3DCS Analyst & Designer, CAA V5 Based - Ver. 2.9.3, December 2002

3DCS Analyst & Designer, CAA V5 Based - Version 2.9.3 is now available on Windows NT/2000/XP and AIX platforms. This release supports both CATIA MD2 and ENOVIA DM2 configurations on all V5 R9 GA and SP releases.
3DCS now supports V5 Cache mode, which allows for large models to be loaded, created and viewed much faster while utilizing less system resources.
DCS Design and Visu Mode have been renamed to Animation and Creation mode to differentiate between V5's Design and Visualization modes.
Animation, Deviation, Nominal Build and Separate performance have been significantly enhanced due to internal optimization.
DCS MTM's and points can now be Added, Modified, and Deleted by using your RH mouse click in the DCS Storage Tree.
Less Clicks and Faster Model creation is now further supported by the New Move, Tolerance and Measurement pop out icons on the Model Creation Toolbar.
The Search Constraints function has been enhanced to handle multiple constraints and components.
Incomplete Move Features and Points can now be displayed with the show button.
The Rotate Line, Line-Plane and Plane-Plane Moves now utilize the Target Point 3 when associated vector is selected.
The Point Information function now can directly link to the associated Move, Tolerance, GD&T or Measurement.
Inactive Measurements are no longer calculated in Combination Measures, Equation Measures or Conditional or Iterative Moves.
Diameters of DCS and Feature points are now displayed directly on the Edit point window.
Multiple points can now be picked in the Edit Point interface by using the mouse window to select points.
CATIA V5 Circle Pattern Points can now be converted to DCS points or Feature Points.
CATIA V4 points can now be converted to DCS points or Feature points.
DCS points and mesh now has many new color options.
The Working Directory path can now be up to 200 characters long.
Weibull4 Tolerance Distribution dialog box has been updated to display Scale and Shape.
The Help File now loads much faster.
The FQA, Tips & Settings section in the Help File has many new topics.

3DCS Analyst & Designer, CAA V5 Based - Version 2.9.2 is now available on the Windows NT/2000/XP and AIX platforms. This release supports both CATIA MD2 and ENOVIA DM2 configurations on V5 R9 SP2.
Animation, Nominal Build and other functions can now be activated directly in the Move dialog.
Deviation and other functions can now be activated directly in the Tolerance dialog.
Feature point creation on trimmed or untrimmed surface is now supported

3DCS Models can now be exported to Excel for review and modification.
3DCS Assemblies can now be sectioned and viewed in varied cross sectional views by using the CATIA and Enovia sectioning command.
WT3 Opening and Import has been enhanced.

Installation programs now support silent loads.

1. The New Feature Measure allows for accurate measurements between surfaces. Minimum clearance as well as collision checking can be preformed.

2. The Derived Feature Measure has been significantly enhanced to measure between sets of features with numerous calculation modes.
