GDM3D Analyst Solids, Analyst Wireframe, Specialist - 

Ver. 5.0.5, November 2005

 

  1. GDM-3D Version 5.0.5  is now available on the Windows NT/2000/XP Pro platforms.
  2. Enhancements to ErgoPlace to fit the charts to chart pages.
  3. User configuration to retain the CAD's original colors during HSF translation (GDM Solids only).
  4. Option to AutoSize the ViewPort during ErgoPlace.
  5. Ability to select multiple IGES files during Import Graphics.
  6. Option to sort by maximum number of Ergo-place able charts per page.
  7. Capability to display missing data in charts when viewing as run chart and comparator charts.
  8. GDM Engine mode updated to save a CSV file as an output type.
  9. GDM Specialist mode now has the ability to use wizard ergo place and edit CAD functionality.
  10. The chart page resolution is user configurable (height and width of the chart page in pixels can be set by the user).
  11. Enhanced ergo place option to keep the CAD on the right side and layout charts on the left side only.
  12. The user can configure the vertical axis chart scale increments.
  13. Load and reset configuration options are removed as the system is designed to use one master configuration.
  14. Summary chart has the ability to display % conformance to tolerance for each feature and %conformance for Pp for the entire report.
  15. Gage R&R form now allows for one operator and one trial data input - for fixture certification.
  16. GDM Engine Mode DCSDB1 data file processing is enhanced with data and feature ID - to allow alias feature names in reports.
  17. The GDZ files can be opened in GDM by double clicking on the file name in the file explorer window.
  18. 3DCS data replace option fixed for replacing all statistics.
  19. A list of standard macros is included with the software.
  20. Instructions to extract a clean IGES file from Unigraphics NX 2 is added.

    • Grabeng to use Datagrabber.mdb from the exe directory always (read and write).

Enhancements in GDM-3D Analyst - Solids Version 5.0.2, May 2005

  1. GDM-3D Version 5.0.2  is now available on the Windows NT/2000/XP Pro platforms.  This Release requires new a DCS license file.  Please contact your DCS Sales representative.  
  2.  Point Box chart enhanced with chart settings to control the size, shape and display vector settings.
  3.  Summary chart settings saved and loaded with GDZ file.
  4. New measurement FeatureCopy added: to generate a new feature as alias of existing feature.
  5. New measurement PT 2 PT 2D Distance added : to measure deviations between 2 features.

Enhancements in GDM-3D Specialist / Analyst - Solids Version 5.0.1, September 2004

  1. GDM-3D Version 5.0.1 is now available on the Windows NT/2000/XP Pro platforms.  This Release requires new a DCS license file.  Please contact your DCS Sales representative.
  2. GDM-3D enhanced Solids Engine now supports Shaded, Wireframe or Hidden Line Removal display modes.
  3. Direct CAD Translators are now supported; CATIA V4, V5, ProE, UG, Parasolid, Step, SAT, HSF and IGES.
  4. The new DCS Converter solution now supports file clean up and conversion to HSF files.
  5. Screen layout updated with the addition of the Solids Shading toolbar
